TechPulse (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates techpulsesite.com. This policy explains what data the site collects, why, who else receives it, and what you can do about it.

Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Comments — the name, email address, and comment text you submit, plus your IP address and browser user agent. This is used to display the comment and to detect spam.
- Contact messages — whatever you choose to send us by email, retained so we can respond and keep a record of corrections.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs — IP address, request time, page requested, referring page, and user agent. Used for security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing faults.
- AdSense site checks — Google AdSense code is present while our site is under review. Loading the page can send a request to Google even when no advertisement is shown.
We do not ask for or knowingly collect financial information, government identifiers, or any special category data.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. WordPress may use cookies for signed-in sessions and, if you choose, to remember comment-form details. Google Analytics 4 is currently paused while we complete consent controls. Cookies from earlier visits may remain in your browser until you clear them.
Google AdSense code is present for site review. It can contact Google and may place or read cookies even when no ad is displayed. If ads are enabled later, Google and its partners may use additional cookies or similar identifiers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking sign-in cookies may affect logged-in features.
Advertising and Third-Party Vendors
TechPulse has added Google AdSense code and may display third-party advertising after site approval. When advertising technology is active, providers including Google may place or read cookies and use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to deliver and measure ads. Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is configured but its tag is currently paused while consent controls are completed. TechPulse does not currently load it on public pages. We still use aggregate server-log information to diagnose site issues and understand which pages are requested.
If analytics is enabled later, we will update this policy and provide the required choice before loading optional analytics technology. Google explains its own data practices in the Google Privacy Policy.
Legal Basis for Processing
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies:
- Consent — optional analytics or advertising cookies where required, and comments you choose to submit. Google Analytics is paused while consent controls are configured. AdSense code currently loads for site review, and its consent setup is being completed.
- Legitimate interests — server logs and security measures, for the purpose of keeping the site available and preventing abuse.
- Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose data by law.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
Data is processed by the following categories of recipient:
- Our hosting provider, which processes server logs on our behalf
- Google, for AdSense site-review requests and, if enabled later, analytics or advertising described above
- Spam-filtering services applied to comments
We may disclose data where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
International Transfers
The service providers above operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Those transfers rely on the safeguards each provider has put in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
Data Retention
- Comments — retained indefinitely so conversation threads remain intact, unless you ask for removal.
- Analytics data — previously collected data follows the retention setting in our Google Analytics property. Contact us for the current setting.
- Server logs — rotated and deleted on a rolling short-term basis.
- Contact emails — retained while relevant to an ongoing matter or correction record.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data deleted
- Restrict or object to processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out
- Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority
To exercise any of these, email rony.yf25@gmail.com. We will respond within one month. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Do Not Track
Browsers vary in how they send Do Not Track signals and there is no agreed standard for responding to them. We do not currently respond to DNT signals. The advertising choice links above remain available.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Articles link to external sites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them. Read their policies before providing data.

We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be made prominent on this page.
